Welcome to the web site of EAA Chapter 168 in Dallas, TX.

We are an association of people in the Dallas area who have a broad interest in aviation, including factory certified and home-built aircraft. Many of our members have built and fly their own aircraft.

Chapter 168 is very active and plans several events each month for our members.  Our monthly chapter meeting, held on the first Tuesday of each month, features an aviation speaker. We also plan monthly breakfast or lunch fly-ins at area airports, as well as other social gatherings.

Our meetings are open to the public and we welcome guests. Please check the event calendar for the next meeting time and date. We hope to see you there!

 

 Upcoming Events

  • Saturday, May 19, 8:30am – Young Eagles event at Dallas Executive (KRBD). This event will be for Skyline HS A/P students. Non-flying volunteers are needed to assist pilots with paperwork and to talk with the parents during the flights. The event will last about 2 hours.
  • Tuesday, June 5, 6:30pm – General Chapter Meeting: Photographer Jay Miller
  • Saturday, June 9 – Chapter Picnic at Mel and Ann Asberry’s Shortstop Field

Join the Chapter

One way to join the chapter is to attend a monthly chapter meeting where you can fill out a membership application and pay your dues. ($20/yr)

Chapter Monthly Meeting

The main monthly meeting is held the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm. We meet in the auditorium at the Farmers Branch Manske Library, at the corner of Webb Chapel Rd. and Golfing Green Dr.
