Shorts Solent

The aircraft shown below is a Short Solent 4-engine Flying Boat. It is currently at the Oakland Aviation Museum in Oakland, California. I had the opportunity to take a look at her when she was in Richmond, CA, shortly before she was moved by barge to the Oakland Airport. This aircraft was used for the interior shots on the airplane in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
